Aromatherapy can boost your spirit and your mood. You can find aromatherapy for increasing inspiration and creativity, waking you up, or helping you to relax and get a good night's sleep. More than just a pretty smell, research has shown that aromatherapy can change your mood and have other positive effects.
Certain essential oils can help to calm you or even reduce discomfort. Lavender is one that is commonly used for calming mind and body. Peppermint can help to wake you up and help keep you alert. I use peppermint oil in a diffuser in my car to help keep me alert while driving. Plus it makes my car smell great without resorting to toxic air fresheners.
